What is Microfibre?

Unlike cotton, microfibre is a man-made fibre produced from polyester and polyamide. These fibres are 100 times smaller than a human hair and have the amazing ability to attract and hold dust, dirt and particularly grease that normally requires us to use chemicals to break them down. Norwex Microfibre can hold up to seven times its weight in water, and these cloths act like a bionic sponge that uses capillary vacuum force to pull dirt, water, bacteria and grease up and into its micro-fibres and away from the surface leaving it residual free and squeaky clean.

Why do we need Microfibre cleaning? 

Traditional cleaning cloths and mops simply push the dirt and chemicals from one room to another. They leave residuals behind that attract future dirt and generally don't make cleaning easier.

Why do we need Antibacterial Microfibre?

As microfibre removes so much solution, bacteria and grease from a surface, it's extremely important that your cloths do not become a breeding ground for more bugs like your old smelly kitchen cloths. To thermally clean and sanitise microfibre cloths they need to be laundered above 77oC for more than 15 minutes. Norwex Mircofibre can be laundered up to 95oC. Cheaper cloths cannot withstand this temperature and so they are never fully sanitised meaning you could be spreading bacteria next time you use them. 

What is Silver Antibacterial Microfibre?

Norwex Antibacterial Microfibre is the most innovative product in the industry. The antibacterial agent is embedded inside the tiny fibres so when the cloths are used to clean surfaces, it will remove bacteria on that surface and destroy the bacteria collected in the cloth after a few hours. The silver agent gives the cloth auto sanitising characteristics. It basically cleans itself meaning you don't have to thermally sanitise them in hot water every day.
